03 — How it works

Three steps, about seven minutes from request to first push-off.

  1. Request the ride 2 min

Send a rental request with your pickup point, date and the duration you want. Staff confirm which scooter or e-bike is free and quote the exact price for that period.

  2. Briefing and unlock 4 min

You sign the short rental terms, collect your included helmet, and a staff member walks you through braking, lights and the ride zone limits. Any deposit is taken at this counter.

  3. Return at a designated point 1 min

Park at any listed return point, dock the vehicle and end the rental. The meter stops the moment you confirm the return, so a late dock never bills as ride time.

02 — Safety

Helmets are required. We include one.

Six rules cover every rental in central Kyiv. Read them before pickup. Staff repeat the short briefing at the dock and hand over a helmet in your size.

  1. 01 Wear the helmet for the whole ride

The helmet is part of the rental at no extra charge. Fasten the strap under your chin before you push off and keep it on until you dock the vehicle. If the fit is wrong or the shell is damaged, ask for a replacement at pickup.

  2. 02 Take the 30 second briefing

Staff show you the brake, the throttle limit and the parking rule before the timer starts. First-time riders get a two minute test loop next to the dock.

  3. 03 Carry your ID or passport

Riders must be 18 or older. Visitors show a passport, residents show an ID card. The document stays with you, we only check it at handover.

  4. 04 Stay inside the central ride zone

Ride on the roadway and follow local traffic law. Sidewalks, pedestrian zones and the steep park paths are off limits. The zone boundary is marked at pickup.

  5. 05 One rider per vehicle

No passengers, no luggage hanging from the bars. Bags go in the front basket or on your back, and both hands stay on the grips.

  6. 06 Dock at a designated return point

End the rental at a marked dock, not on a random corner. The station list shows walking minutes and dock capacity, and staff confirm availability before you ride.

Station hours and return points: check the dock list. Questions before you book: send a rental request.

05 — Return points

Every ride ends at a designated dock, never on a sidewalk.

Five docks inside the central ride zone. Walking minutes are measured from the dock to the nearest metro entrance. Staff confirm live capacity and opening hours at pickup.

05 — Ride zone rules

Ride on the roadway or a bike lane. Never on the sidewalk.

On the street an e-scooter or e-bike follows the same Ukrainian traffic rules as a bicycle. The 10-minute briefing at pickup walks you through the blocks around the office so you know which side of the kerb you belong on.

Where you may ride

  • Signed bike lanes and cycle pathsRide them end to end, including the embankment route and the park paths marked for cycling.
  • The roadway, right-hand laneKeep right, ride single file, and signal turns with your arm before you move across.
  • Designated return docksStation locations, walking minutes, and opening hours are listed under return points.

Where you may not ride

  • Sidewalks and pedestrian zonesKhreshchatyk, Kontraktova Square, and the metro underpasses are walk-only. Step off and push the scooter.
  • Parks and courtyards without a cycling signA courtyard cut-through is not a shortcut. Walking the scooter through is always allowed.
  • Two riders, or no valid IDOne rider per vehicle, 18 or older, with a passport or ID card shown at pickup. Riding under the influence is a police matter.

Patrol police can stop a rider on the spot, and any fine is paid by the rider, not the rental. Our safety checklist covers the six rules we brief before every handover, and the full wording sits in the Rental Terms and Safety Policy.

Questions about a specific street? Send the route in the request form and staff will confirm it.

08 — Rental request

Send the request first. Availability is confirmed at pickup.

We hold a scooter or e-bike against your requested start time, but a submitted form does not guarantee one. Staff check the dock list, your ID and the helmet size before the rental starts.

Riders must be 18 or older with a valid ID or passport. A refundable deposit of 500 UAH may apply at pickup and is returned when the vehicle comes back to a designated return point.
